Last weekend, the Girls Varsity Soccer Team finished 2-1 in the Mansfield Tournament to start the season on a positive note. Their efforts to tie the game in the second half came up short but the game was a great test early in the season. In the final game of the tournament, the Leopards beat Life School Waxahachie 3-0. Goals were scored by Tatum Chester, Hannah Dunlap, and Katie Welch. Assists were by Avery Templin, Tatum Chester, and Hannah Dunlap. Next up for the Varsity team is the Princeton Tournament where the girls will play Mabank and Royse City on Thursday, 1/9, at 12:00 and 4:30.
